2.The knowledge and skill specified in Ordinances of the Ministry of Transport under Article 72 paragraph 1 of the Law shall consist of the following matters:
(1) The following matters concerning said route;
a) The method of taking off and landing safely at aerodromes following the procedures specified at said aerodromes;
b) Minimum safe altitude, holding procedures and other navigation procedures;
c) Communication procedures and air traffic control procedures
d) Search and rescue procedures;
e) Method of utilizing air navigation facility
f) Aerodrome used and the outline of their equipment;
g) Geographical features and locations of obstacles and congested areas;
h) Weather conditions.
(2) Operation and handling of aircraft in normal conditions and abnormal conditions.
Article 163-(2). The approval under Article 72 paragraph 1 of the Law shall be granted by restricting the aerodromes and the type of aircraft to be used.
Article 164. Any person who applies for approval under Article 72 paragraph 1 of the Law shall submit to the Minister of Transport an application describing the following items, with documents certifying that he has the experience prescribed under each subparagraph of Article 163 paragraph 1 attached:
(1) Name and address;
(2) Name and address of the scheduled air carrier to which he belongs;
(3) The qualifications, restrictions, and number of his competence certificate, and the number of his aviation physical examination certificate;
(4) The route, aerodromes to be used, and type of aircraft relating to said approval;
(5) Total accumulated flying hours and flying hours as pilot-in-command;
(6) Other referential matters.
2.The approval under Article 72 paragraph 1 of the Law shall be conditional upon the applicant passing a written examination, oral examination, and practical examination (the latter to be limited to the cases where this examination is recognized as necessary).
3.The practical examination under the preceding paragraph shall be executed by having an officer designated by the Minister of Transport ride with the applicant on an aircraft of the same type as the aircraft relating to said approval or by the use of flight simulator of the same type as the aircraft relating to said
